Registration for our Summer Camps has closed, but registration for our Fall Session will be opening in July. Get on our list to be the first to find out when our FREE trial classes begin!

We have two week-long camps running this year in July for kids ages 8-10 and 11-15. Camps run Monday-Friday from 1PM-3PM Eastern Standard Time. Every camper gets a custom magic supply kit in the mail that they use throughout the week to build their magic effects. Every camp week ends with a mini magic show that is streamed live to a private YouTube link for family and friends to see!

Magic Camp is is great for new students in magic. Card Magic Camp would be a great option for students who know a little about card magic and want to learn a little more. All our camps are built with the beginner magician in mind and have the flexibility to teach to all levels.

School of Magic Arts is a virtual school, and has been for years. In fact, not to brag, but we are the number one virtual magic school in the country. We find that teaching magic via computer is an extremely effective way for students to learn. Read more about virtual magic instruction here.

Who are we?

School of Magic Arts instructors are experts in their fields. We have cardsharps, mentalists, coin wizards, theater makers, and more. Our Head Magicians (and SOMA Founders), Annie Montone and Brian Kehoe, are professional magicians who have developed a program that has helped hundreds of students achieve their dreams of performing stage magic.

Head Magicians Annie and Brian stand next to each other in their formal purple magic costumes.

Magic Camp

In this five day camp, students will learn the art of performing illusions based on the eight types of stage magic: production, vanish, transportation, transformation, levitation, animation, tear and restore, and solid-through-solid. They will use cards, coins, mental magic, and more! SOMA’s camp program includes stage magic instruction as well as confidence-building activities, theater games, prop building, writing, and crafts. This is a great "introduction to magic" camp!

Card Magic Camp!

Yes, that’s right, School of Magic Arts is finally offering a Card Magic Camp! We’ve been hearing for years that we need to offer a five day session focusing exclusively on cards, and this July, we’re finally doing it. SOMA students (new, current, and returning) will have the opportunity to hone their card magic skills in this week of camp.

We’ll be learning both classic and modern card illusions, cardistry, and the best ways to perform card tricks in several different kinds of environments. Everything they need to make card magic will be shipped to your door prior to the first day of camp.

If your child has an interest in cards, this is a perfect opportunity to try it out with a professional magician, and a camp full of other students!

  • 5 days of live, online camp
  • Instruction by a professional magician
  • Magic supply kit
  • Performance at the end of the week
