Class Experience

History of Magic is the first half of Level Three studies at SOMA. Students will learn how magic has evolved throughout time from The Golden Age of magic to modern internet magic. We will also meet significant magicians of the time and the tricks they performed.

The magic we learn in this course is inspired by the magicians we study. All this leads up to our favorite show: Magic Through the Ages where students talk about and perform magic from different time periods.
